Where a Home Search is required, before contacting your employee to identify their specifications for a property, HCR will establish your corporate budget information and policy guidelines. During the conversation with the employee, our dedicated Relocation Consultant will also explain the different property types available in the specified location, as well as market conditions. We will also collect vital information such as anticipated move dates, family requirements such as school proximity and consideration of pets, in order to manage expectations accordingly. A full needs analysis will be performed to ascertain any areas of concerns to your employee and their partner/family.
For a full Accompanied Home Search, as well as providing a shortlist of suitable properties, we create an itinerary of viewings, which will be accompanied by a Local Area Consultant (LAC). The Home Search will typically last for one day, during which 8-12 properties will be viewed.
The itinerary is sent to the employee (and their partner, where relevant) for approval in advance. As well as being able to answer questions about the surrounding area, the LAC will offer an unbiased opinion about each property, and use their expertise to identify potential concerns and address them with the current Landlord or Letting Agent.
