When moving house, one of the many necessary tasks is to disconnect from utilities in the current property, and settle all bills (which will most likely include Council Tax) for the final period of occupation up to the move-out date. When your employee(s) moves out of their property as part of the relocation, our Relocation Consultant can manage the entire Disconnect process on their behalf, liaising with utility providers and checking that final bills coincide with the move-out date or contract agreement.
If your employee is renting their current property, they will also need to terminate their lease. HCR can liaise with the Landlord/Letting Agent and enter negotiations where applicable and possible, arranging for the return of any deposit or bond.
HCR’s Disconnect Service alleviates some of the burdens associated with moving house, leaving the employee and their family free to focus on the actual relocation.
