In our experience, the success of an assignment or relocation can often be strongly influenced by the ability of the employee’s partner to settle into their new location – and, where applicable, work situation.
HCR works in partnership with a network of locally-headquartered firms with international resources in career management, giving full global coverage. Our support programmes are designed to assist partners finding suitable work in the UK - and, if appropriate, continue their career path - and integrate within their new community. This benefits the employer by potentially reducing the risk of a failed relocation, which can be costly.
There are a range of support options as follows:
- Option 1 - Online Career Resource Centre – provides access, for a six-month period, to a desktop solution that offers career assessment, research options, support with job applications and a forum and blog from career experts.
- Option 2 - Springboard to Success – provides either support from a career consultant, on an individual or group basis, or access to a choice of two half-day seminars and one hour with a career consultant, in addition to the Online Career Resource Centre.
- Option 3 – Unlocking Potential – one-to-one career counselling, with services and expertise tailored to suit individual circumstances. Offers either a half-day seminar (from a choice of three) and three hours with career consultants, or six hours with career consultants.
- Option 4 – Your Future, Your Career – an in-depth module which combines career counselling services with dynamic career visioning and self-development techniques. Assistance is also given with networking and managing relationships with recruitment agencies. Nine hours’ counselling with a career consultant is available as part of the support, or five half-day seminars and four hours with career consultants.
