Meet, Greet & Settling-In


Whether your employee is travelling to or within the UK at the beginning or end of their assignment, or as part of a pre-move area orientation, we can provide an optional ‘Meet and Greet’ service.

We arrange for your employee (and their partner/family) to be met at any major transport terminus, including railway stations, ferry ports and commercial airports. They are greeted on arrival, escorted / helped to the vehicle and driven to their destination. All vehicles are carefully selected to meet their personal requirements and offer maximum comfort.

We are not tied to any one supplier: we compare quotes from known transport providers and obtain your authorisation before booking.


Our settling-in service gives your employees and their families an overview of their new location immediately after they’ve moved in.  It is similar to a pre-move area orientation, and indeed can be used instead of – or alongside – our area orientation.

Our Local Area Consultant (LAC) provides the settling-in service, which gives:

  • An overview of local facilities, services and amenities.
  • Assistance with opening bank accounts, registering with doctors and dentists, and purchasing mobile phones.
  • Cultural advice on any significant everyday practices which may differ from those of your employees’ home country.
  • Information on and contact with expat groups, offering support and social opportunities for expats, partners and families
